So in love with the default background picture.
As for apps, Photos, Calendar, Maps, iPod. All great. I’m not sure how to express how – just…. so – perfect the iPad felt to me when I first touched one. Once I can code on it my Mac is gone.
PCalc is my go-to calculator, unless I’m going to be doing something complicated then Soulver is brilliant. (I use both on iPhone). OmniGraffle is really handy those few times I need it, wish it was a bit snappier but I can appreciate the complexity. Air Display is nice, though with the hardware orientation lock gone accidental rotations are painful. I really only use Square on the iPhone, but have it on here because the app is so beautiful.
A bunch of the other little-used Apple apps are bundled together. iWork blows me away. A few of my favorite games are together: Drop7, Angry Birds, Deep Green, Implode!, The Incident.
In my dock, a stunning Twitter icon. A few of the essentials: Simplenote, iBooks, Kindle, Instapaper. Reeder is great on iPad. Flipboard is fantastic.
