I live on my iPhone. I am either constantly checking email, tweeting, checking-in on Foursquare and Gowalla, or text messaging with my friends. My iPhone is my life, basically. It’s my computer away from my computer.
Unlike most iPhone users, I actually use the phone quite a bit. Some people I communicate are still a little old school, and like to talk on the phone (hey, there’s nothing wrong with that!). If there are two things I do the most on my iPhone, it’s browse the web, and check my email. I also check Twitter a few times a day on my iPhone using Tweetie 2, which in my option is the best Twitter iPhone application.
I’ve had a hard time choosing between Gowalla and Foursquare, so I made it easier on myself — use both. At TechCrunch and Qik, we use Yammer to communicate, so of course I’m always connected there. At Teens in Tech Networks, we use SocialCast for internal communication. Both are great apps, and I love them both.
Facebook is in this list since it’s a no-brainer. The rest of the apps are pretty standard — stock iPhone apps, which some I don’t know why are on my home screen.
